Michael Kors Selects The Winners for the WindowsWear Mentorship Program 2023!

WindowsWear kicked off its second edition of the WindowsWear Mentorship Program in partnership with Michael Kors. Students were invited to share their concepts and develop a project in retail, window displays, and store design following the concept of “Jet Set”.

Michael Kors invited 10 students to be part of their in-person WindowsWear Mentorship Program at their headquarters in New York City! Students attended bimonthly evening classes where they met with the Store Design and Visual Merchandising teams. They learned to create and developed a project that defines the new “Jet Set” in-store experience including store design, window displays, and pop-in store animations for Michael Kors.

The three finalists had the opportunity to present their final project in-person to fashion designer Michael Kors at the headquarters in New York City. Students had the opportunity to get some feedback and learn from his point of view. Later on, Michael himself announced the winner of this year who will received a paid summer 2023 internship and congratulated the rest of the finalists who each received a Michael Kors handbag.
